Nelson Is Ready For Baptism!

Hola familia,
Well I’m glad to hear you are all doing good this week. Sorry I didn’t write you yesterday, I don’t really know why, but we didn’t have time so I’m writing today. Anyway this last week was good. I can’t really remember what we did exactly, but on Thursday we celebrated mother’s day and me and my comp dressed up as mariachis and sang a song. It was pretty funny. I’ll show you the video some time.

This week was good. Nelson who we’re teaching came to church. His baptism is going to be the 29th of this month. He is awesome! He wants to be a member and is willing to do what it takes. He told us the other day he wants to be a missionary, so that was cool. The girl I told you about, Vanessa is good. The last time we went there her very catholic grandma told her she didn’t want us there. Last night we had a FHE with her and two other investigators and made pizza and watched ‘Finding Faith in Christ’ and it was really good. And today were going to go teach Vanessa, so hopefully everything goes well.

Right now I have a pretty toe. I’m pretty sure I broke it yesterday playing soccer. It’s all dark purple and pretty. I tried to send a picture, but this computer won’t read my camera. Sorry. Good job Heidi on your track meet.

Um about the going to Copan; the only thing is if you do that you would have to pay for him and take care of him for three days while he’s there. I don’t know. A guy in my old ward also told me he would take us there too and that he knows the area. But either way. I don’t think it would be to hard to just drive either. But I don’t know what do you think. Also I talked to Denise about the house and she said ya we can still stay there. So if you want to I’m fine with it.

I can’t really think of much else. Everything is good. Dad I’m glad your surgery went well (Tate's dad had his thyroid out on Thursday). That’s crazy Joe is engaged do you know to who (A friend from our ward)? And that’s funny about Abby haha (His niece swallowed a set of luggage keys. They came out just fine, haha). Send a copy of the x rays if you can.

We did find a new investigator who said he wants to be baptized so well have to see how he is because we have only been there once. Well I think that’s pretty much all for now. I love you all. Take care. The church is true.
Love, Elder Brinton
